"Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Police Tactics", Original Release Japanese Speed Poster 1974, Speed Poster Size (c. 26 cm × 75 cm) N50

Sale price $200.00

This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1974 for the first release of Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Police Tactics (仁義なき戦い 頂上作戦), the fourth chapter in Kinji Fukasaku’s genre-defining yakuza saga.

With Hiroshima awash in blood, rival clans escalate their turf war as police launch a sweeping crackdown. Wiretaps, betrayals and street executions tighten the noose around triggerman Shozo Hirono (Bunta Sugawara), forcing desperate alliances and setting the stage for the series’ climactic final episode. Fukasaku’s docu-sty realism and Kazuo Kasahara’s screenplay expose the futility of gang honour against institutional power.

Speed posters were issued in far smaller quantities than standard B2s, pasted to narrow pillars outside cinemas; surviving examples for high-profile yakuza titles are therefore exceptionally scarce.

This poster is in excellent condition. Please refer to the imagery (both front and back) as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
