"Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Hiroshima Deathmatch", Original Release Japanese Speed Poster 1973, Speed Poster Size (c.26 cm × 75 cm) N49

Sale price $200.00

This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1973 for the first release of Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Hiroshima Deathmatch (仁義なき戦い 広島死闘篇), the second film in Kinji Fukasaku’s revolutionary yakuza saga.

Continuing the chronicle of post-war Hiroshima gang wars, the sequel shifts focus to triggerman Shozo Hirono’s hot-headed protégé Shoji Yamanaka. As alliances splinter and police crackdowns intensify, the body count rises in a brutal power struggle that cements the franchise’s “documentary-bloodshed” realism. Released a mere three months after the first film, it helped propel the series to box-office dominance and rewrite yakuza-eiga conventions.

Speed posters were produced in far smaller quantities than standard B2s, making surviving first-run examples for high-profile yakuza titles exceptionally scarce.

This poster is in excellent condition. Please refer to the imagery (both front and back) as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
