"Delinquent Girl Boss: Worthless to Confess", Original Release Japanese Speed Poster 1971, Speed Poster Size (c.26 cm × 75 cm) N45

Sale price $120.00

This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1971 for the first release of Delinquent Girl Boss: Worthless to Confess (すべ公番長 ばけの値打もない), the fourth film in Toei’s hard-hitting sukeban action series starring Reiko Oshida.

Film background
Fresh off a gang dust-up in Shinjuku, swaggering ringleader Mako (Reiko Oshida) lands a nightclub job that turns out to be a yakuza front. Caught between crooked bosses, rival girl gangs and a straight-arrow detective, she leads her chain-swinging crew into an all-out street war. Kazuhiro Yamaguchi’s pop-art direction blends fashion, funk and blade-flashing mayhem—cementing the Delinquent Girl Boss cycle as a cornerstone of early-’70s pinky-action cinema.

Poster design
Printed in the tall speed-poster format, this design features:

  • Reiko Oshida front-and-centre in a neon-yellow T-shirt (cigarette in lip, switchblade in hand) exuding rock-’n-roll bravado.

  • Title 刃げの値打もない slashed vertically in ferocious red brush-strokes against a bone-white field, echoing spurts of blood and graffiti tags.

Speed posters were printed in far smaller numbers than standard B2s and pasted to narrow columns outside cinemas, making surviving examples for a flagship sukeban title exceptionally scarce.

This poster is in excellent condition.
