Sale price $100.00

This is an original Japanese speed poster printed in 1970 for the first theatrical release of Delinquent Girl Boss: Tokyo Drifter (ズベ公番長 東京流れ者), distributed by Toei. Speed posters were produced in far smaller numbers than standard B2s and used primarily for quick cinema display, making them especially scarce today. Surviving examples for cult titles such as this are highly prized by collectors.

Film background
The second entry in Toei’s Delinquent Girl Boss (ズベ公番長) “sukeban” cycle, Tokyo Drifter was directed by Kazuhiko Yamaguchi and stars Reiko Oshida, one of the era’s most iconic girl-boss heroines. The film follows gang leader Rika (Oshida), fresh out of reform school, as she heads into Tokyo’s underworld. She soon finds herself entangled in turf wars, crooked boxing rings, and Yakuza extortion rackets. With its blend of go-go club sequences, razor-sharp street fights, and a surprisingly emotional coming-of-age element, the film cemented Oshida’s reputation as the definitive “delinquent girl boss” of 1970s Japanese cinema.

Poster design
This Japanese speed poster captures the raw rebelliousness of the film. Reiko Oshida is shown front and center, barefoot in rolled-up jeans, shirt torn open, tattoo on display, exuding both toughness and youthful defiance. The bold typography in red and blue strikes across the composition, emphasizing action and danger. Compact yet visually explosive, this speed poster perfectly embodies the sukeban spirit and remains one of the most desirable formats for collectors of Toei’s pinky-violence cycle.
