This is an original ultra rare Japanese A4 pamphlet printed in 1965 for the first release of the third James Bond Film - Goldfinger.
The Japanese text at the bottom, "007/ゴールドフィンガー", translates to 007: Goldfinger. The additional text indicates that this was the third film in the James Bond series (ジェームズ・ボンド・シリーズ第3作).
One of the most iconic James Bond films, Goldfinger follows 007 as he investigates the wealthy and mysterious Auric Goldfinger, who plans to contaminate the United States' gold reserves at Fort Knox. The film introduced many of the classic Bond elements, including the Aston Martin DB5, elaborate gadgets, and a larger-than-life villain.
The program’s cover design features two of the most famous visuals from the film:
Sean Connery as Bond, in a tuxedo, holding his Walther PPK.
The golden-painted body of Jill Masterson (Shirley Eaton), one of the most striking images in Bond history.
This Japanese first-release movie program is a highly collectible piece of James Bond memorabilia, particularly for fans of the Connery-era films. With its bold design and unique Japanese typography, it stands out as a desirable piece of 1960s cinema history.
