This is an original Japanese FRAMED pamphlet-poster from the first release of Rebecca in 1951.

The artwork for the poster is set in a cream-colored mount and dark brown frame, complementing its design fantastically. The poster is extremely rare and in demand by collectors of Alfred Hitchcock.

This size of poster can be displayed anywhere, it is ideal for an office desk, or at home. This poster comes framed and will make a beautiful gift for family, friend or.... yourself!

This is a vintage Japanese movie program or flyer for "Rebecca" (1940), the classic Alfred Hitchcock gothic thriller starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.

The text at the top left, "日比谷映画劇場" (Hibiya Eiga Gekijō), indicates that this was issued for screenings at the Hibiya Movie Theater in Tokyo.

Based on Daphne du Maurier’s novel, Rebecca follows a young woman (Joan Fontaine) who marries the wealthy Maxim de Winter (Laurence Olivier), only to be haunted by the memory of his late wife, Rebecca, and the sinister presence of the housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers. The film is renowned for its haunting atmosphere, psychological tension, and its status as Hitchcock’s only film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.

This Japanese theater-issue program is a rare and collectible piece of cinema history, featuring a striking illustration of Olivier and Fontaine in an intimate yet suspenseful embrace.
