Akira (Japanese: アキラ) is a 1988 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name.
It is over 38 years old!
This poster is in good condition. Please refer to the imagery as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
This poster has some signs of use as this was definitely used at the cinema during the films first release - we picked it up in a warehouse find in south Japan! We have provided additional imagery and taken this into account when pricing. Once framed with a border, it will display excellently.
