“Dracula Has Risen from the Grave” (帰って来たドラキュラ), Original Japanese First-Release Speed Poster / Press-Sheet 1969, Very Rare, Size (24 × 51 cm) O450
This is an original Japanese Speed Poster / Press-Sheet printed in 1969 for the first theatrical release of Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968), Hammer’s Gothic horror directed by Freddie Francis and released domestically by Warner Bros.–Seven Arts. Starring Christopher Lee as Count Dracula with Rupert Davies, Veronica Carlson, Barry Andrews, Barbara Ewing, and Ewan Hooper, this is the compact lobby/press format issued to theaters and the trade.
Design
Blood-red vertical kanji 「帰って来たドラキュラ」 drips down the layout as a church-bell victim hangs inverted at the top. The lower field stages the coffin-stake climax—Lee’s Dracula recoiling inside a purple-trimmed casket—framed by stone crypt textures and teal/amber lighting. A striking, Japan-only montage tailored to the tall Speed/Press sheet aspect.
