Godzilla 1984 (Toho, 1984) – Japanese B1 Poster (28.5" x 40.5")
For the 30th anniversary of cinema’s longest-running franchise, Toho revived Godzilla after a decade-long hiatus. To mark the occasion, they commissioned renowned artist Noriyoshi Ohrai—best known for his Star Wars posters—to design this striking B1-size teaser poster. This version was produced exclusively in this large format and was quickly replaced by the standard release design.
Considered a cornerstone for any Godzilla collection, these Japanese B1 teaser posters are exceptionally rare. They were distributed in limited quantities, reserved for only the largest theaters in Tokyo, and remained in circulation for just about a month before being replaced by the standard B2 posters featuring full credits.
