This is an original Japanese STB (tatekan-style two-panel) poster printed in 1971 to promote the Toho Champion Festival, featuring the re-release of Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964), newly titled for the event as:
地球最大の決戦 (Chikyū Saidai no Kessen – The Greatest Battle on Earth).

This Toho Champion Matsuri event combined several children’s favourites into a single program, including:

  • Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, also featuring Rodan and Mothra

  • Ultraman Returns (帰ってきたウルトラマン)

  • The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee (昆虫物語みなしごハッチ)

  • Kappa Daishō (いなかっぺ大将)

The poster features a striking full-length vertical layout with explosive artwork of Godzilla and King Ghidorah locked in battle at top, Ultraman and twin kaiju in mid-frame, and colourful anime characters including Hutch the Bee and Kappa Daishō near the bottom.

This particular poster is a large-format STB (tatekan)—approximately twice the height of a standard B2—and was typically displayed at the entrance of cinemas. STB posters were printed in limited numbers and survive in very small quantities, making them highly collectible.
