This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster issued by Movic (ムービック) in 1989 for Kiki’s Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便, Majo no Takkyūbin). Officially licensed under Studio Ghibli/Tokuma Shoten, with the silver Tokuma Shoten authenticity sticker at lower right.
Film background
Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and animated by Studio Ghibli, the 1989 classic follows Kiki as she leaves home to find independence in a seaside city with her cat Jiji. The film won the Animage Anime Grand Prix and helped cement Ghibli’s global reputation.
Poster design
Kiki and Jiji skim the bay with a flock of seabirds, framed by a whimsical star-and-moon border. An English title plate sits along the lower edge—iconic late-’80s Ghibli merchandising art that displays beautifully.
