This is an original Japanese B2 movie poster printed in 1981 for the first Japanese theatrical release of For Your Eyes Only (007/ユア・アイズ・オンリー), a United Kingdom James Bond film directed by John Glen, starring Roger Moore, with Carole Bouquet, Topol, and Lynn-Holly Johnson.

Film background
Released in 1981, For Your Eyes Only deliberately steered the Bond series back toward a more grounded espionage tone after Moonraker, combining Cold War intrigue with mountain action, underwater set-pieces, and high-stakes assassination plots. It remains one of Roger Moore’s most acclaimed Bond entries—tighter, tougher, and more suspense-driven than many of the era’s more fantastical instalments.

Poster design
This is the famous Japan-only illustrated campaign art by the celebrated poster artist Hisamatsu Noguchi (野口久松). It’s a painterly, detail-packed montage that reads like a “greatest hits” of early-’80s Bond spectacle: Moore dominates the centre with pistol raised, while the surrounding imagery erupts into ski/mountain peril, helicopters, sea explosions, divers, car chases, and gadgetry—rendered with the crisp narrative clarity and pop action energy collectors associate with Noguchi’s work. The oversized red “007” pistol logo crowns the design, and the huge Japanese title 「007/ユア・アイズ・オンリー」 anchors the bottom in bold red typography—an exceptionally displayable Bond B2 that differs completely from the photographic one-sheets used elsewhere.
