Sale price $135.00

This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 2004 for the first release of Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys / 「裂空の訪問者 デオキシス」, the seventh animated feature film in the Pokémon franchise and the second theatrical entry in the Advanced Generation series.

A visually spectacular early-2000s Pokémon poster, this design places Deoxys, the mysterious extraterrestrial Pokémon, at the centre of the composition, with Rayquaza, Satoshi / Ash, Pikachu, Haruka / May, Masato / Max, Takeshi / Brock, Tory, Plusle, and Minun arranged below.

Film background
Released in Japan in 2004, Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys was directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and produced as part of the long-running theatrical Pokémon series.

The story begins when the alien Pokémon Deoxys arrives on Earth inside a meteorite, triggering a conflict with the legendary sky Pokémon Rayquaza. Years later, the mystery resurfaces in the futuristic LaRousse City, where Satoshi and his friends become caught in a dramatic clash between advanced technology, human fear, and two extraordinary Pokémon.

The film is remembered for its science-fiction atmosphere, city-scale setting, and the dramatic confrontation between Deoxys and Rayquaza.

Poster design
This Japanese B2 poster is vivid, polished, and highly dynamic. The upper half is dominated by Deoxys in multiple forms, looming over Earth with glowing energy effects and a dark cosmic background. The tagline above the title reads:

「宇宙からやってきたポケモン!?」
“A Pokémon that came from outer space!?”

Across the centre, the title 「裂空の訪問者 デオキシス」 is rendered in large layered lettering, giving the poster strong theatrical impact.

Below, the main characters stand together in a heroic group composition: Satoshi / Ash with Pikachu, Haruka / May, Masato / Max, Takeshi / Brock, and Tory, accompanied by Rayquaza, Plusle, and Minun. The design combines large-scale cosmic threat with the familiar warmth of the Pokémon cast, making it an excellent display piece from the Advanced Generation era.

The bottom text includes the period promotional details, TV Tokyo broadcast reference, and the original 2004 campaign website.
