This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1969 for Toho’s Champion Festival kids’ programme, headlined by Godzilla, Ebirah and Mothra: Giant Sea Monster Duel and co-billed with additional family titles including Akadō Suzunosuke, Mirrorman, Kashi no Ki Moc, and Tensai Bakabon. A perfect snapshot of late-’60s Japanese cinema culture—kaijū spectacle and TV/anime favourites packaged together for children as an all-in-one festival event.

Poster design
A glorious, multi-panel Champion Festival collage: the top section delivers pure kaijū action—Ebirah grappling with Godzilla as Mothra attacks from above, explosions detonating across a bright blue sky—while the lower panels stack vivid title blocks and character scenes for the programme’s animated and tokusatsu co-features.
