This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1969 for Dennis Hopper’s counterculture landmark Easy Rider, starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Jack Nicholson. A defining work of New Hollywood—shot by László Kovács with a now-legendary rock soundtrack (Steppenwolf, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix)—it captured the end-of-the-’60s road dream and won a prize at Cannes that year.
Design
