This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1975 for the first domestic theatrical release of Emmanuelle II (France/Italy, 1975), directed by Francis Giacobetti and starring Sylvia Kristel and Umberto Orsini. Japanese first-issue country sheets for the Emmanuelle phenomenon are highly collectible.

Film background
Newly married and living in Hong Kong, Emmanuelle explores desire and freedom with her husband and new acquaintances, extending the soft-erotic, travel-inflected tone of the 1974 original. The sequel cemented Sylvia Kristel’s international stardom and the franchise’s pop-cultural reach.

Poster design
