“Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia” (悪魔のリンチ集団), Original Japanese Theatrical Poster 1977, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O219

Sale price $120.00

This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1977 for the first Japanese release of Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia. A genuine cinema display sheet produced for theatres in Japan and now scarce in collectible condition.

Film background
The third entry in the infamous exploitation cycle stars Dyanne Thorne as the iron-fisted warden of a Stalin-era gulag, whose brutal legend echoes into the Cold War decades. Directed by Jean LaFleur, the film has become a cult artifact of 1970s grindhouse cinema.

Poster design
A blazing Soviet-red battlefield sets the tone: Ilsa stands center in ushanka and officer’s dress, a steel baton at her hip, towering over a burning “GULAG 14.” Cavalry charges and prisoners scatter across the lower register, while the bold bilingual title—blocky teal “ILSA / THE TIGRESS of SIBERIA” with large Japanese taglines—delivers pure ’70s grindhouse impact. A striking, high-octane composition unique to the Japanese campaign.
