“Live and Let Die” (007/死ぬのは奴らだ), Original Release Japanese Movie Poster 1973, B3 Size (36 × 51 cm) O678

Sale price $115.00

This is an original Japanese B3 poster issued in Japan for the theatrical release of Live and Let Die (1973), the eighth official James Bond film and Roger Moore’s debut as 007. Directed by Guy Hamilton, the film injects the series with a slick early-’70s edge—blaxploitation-era style, voodoo-flavoured menace, and globe-trotting spectacle—backed by Paul McCartney & Wings’ iconic title theme. Japanese B3s from this period are highly collectible: smaller print runs than B2s, designed for tighter display spaces, and often far harder to find in presentable condition.

Poster design

A fantastic, high-energy Japanese layout combining bold typography with classic campaign montage. The front features Moore’s Bond in a clean, high-impact hero pose, surrounded by explosive action cues—speedboat chaos, weaponry, tarot/occult imagery, and the film’s pulpy “danger and glamour” tone—anchored by the huge “007” and the vivid red Japanese title 「死ぬのは奴らだ」.
The reverse is printed as an information-rich promotional sheet (staff/cast text blocks, synopsis-style copy, and stills), making this a true cinema-era display piece.
