This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1957 for the first Japanese release of Night Passage (1957), the CinemaScope (Technirama) Western directed by James Neilson and starring James Stewart and Audie Murphy. Set on a post–Civil War railroad line threatened by outlaw gangs, the film is remembered for its rugged star pairing, frontier suspense, and grand-scale Western landscapes.

Design
A magnificent, hand-painted Japanese design built around pure confrontation: Stewart and Murphy face off at close range, guns drawn, rendered in dramatic orange-red tones against storm-dark skies. The bold yellow title block 「夜の道」 anchors the centre, framed by the English title NIGHT PASSAGE, while the “TECHNIRAMA” branding below reinforces the film’s widescreen spectacle.
