"Pokémon the Movie: Giratina and the Sky Bouquet—Shaymin (劇場版ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド&パール ギラティナと氷空〈そら〉の花束〈はなたば〉 シェイミ)", Original Japanese Theatrical Poster 2008, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O264

Sale price $100.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 2008 for Kunihiko Yuyama’s 11th Pokémon feature, the middle chapter of the Sinnoh film trilogy. Set between dimensions, the story follows Ash, Dawn, and Brock as they protect Shaymin (introducing its Sky Forme) while the banished renegade Giratina battles distortions spilling from the Reverse World. Produced by OLM with character design by Ken Sugimori and score by Shinji Miyazaki, the film deepened Sinnoh lore and set up the trilogy’s cosmic stakes leading into Arceus and the Jewel of Life.

Film background
Dark eco-fantasy imagery (pollution of the Reverse World), a memorable antagonist in Zero, and the debut of Shaymin’s transformation helped make this a standout of the Diamond & Pearl era. The movie showcased Sinnoh partners (Piplup, Chimchar, Turtwig) and continued the series’ blend of spectacle and environmental messaging.

Poster design
A kinetic ensemble composition anchored by a towering Giratina (Origin Forme) slicing across the left field, talons outstretched. To the upper right, Shaymin (Sky Forme) bursts from a ringed portal, bathed in “light of gratitude,” echoed by the vertical tagline:
「ポケモンたちは“感謝の光”と導かれる」— The Pokémon are guided by the light of gratitude.
The central column features Ash, Pikachu, Dawn, Brock, and companions charging forward, with Piplup and Chimchar mid-action. On the right edge, rival Zero glares into frame; floating Reverse-World orbs and crystalline terrain surround the cast. A massive chrome-and-crimson title 「ギラティナと氷空の花束 シェイミ」 anchors the base, flanked by Toho/TV Tokyo credits and the official site line.
