This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1971 for the first release of Sapporo 1972: Winter Olympic Games.
Lithograph in colours published in 1971 for the Organising Committee of the 11th Winter Olympic Games by the Nippon Printing Company of Japan. This was the main publicity poster for the Sapporo Olympic Games held in February 1972 in Sapporo, Japan; it is well sought after and is surprisingly scarce today.
It is over 54 years old!
