This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed for the 2011 Japanese release of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps / 「ウォール・ストリート」, Oliver Stone’s sequel to his influential 1987 financial drama.

The film marked the return of Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko, the ruthless corporate raider whose declaration that “greed is good” became one of the defining lines of 1980s cinema. Film background

After serving a lengthy prison sentence for securities fraud and related offences, Gordon Gekko is released into a radically changed New York.

Once one of Wall Street’s most feared figures, Gekko initially finds himself isolated from both the financial establishment and his estranged daughter, Winnie.

Winnie is engaged to Jacob Moore, an ambitious young trader who believes that investment capital can support environmentally responsible energy technologies. When Jacob’s mentor and firm are destroyed during the emerging financial crisis, he becomes convinced that powerful hedge-fund executive Bretton James engineered their collapse.

Jacob seeks Gekko’s guidance in navigating the financial system and pursuing revenge. In exchange, Gekko asks him to help repair his relationship with Winnie.

Their alliance becomes increasingly unstable as Jacob discovers that Gekko’s apparent desire for redemption may conceal the same appetite for wealth, influence, and manipulation that defined his earlier life.

The film was directed by Oliver Stone, from a screenplay by Allan Loeb and Stephen Schiff.
