This is an original, first-release Japanese B0 billboard poster from 1979 for Francis Ford Coppola’s masterpiece Apocalypse Now — a true grail item for collectors.

Printed in massive B0 size (120 × 145 cm), this billboard-format poster was never intended for public sale and is exceptionally rare, especially in eexcellent close to pristine, rolled condition like this. The artwork, by the iconic Japanese designer Eiko Ishioka, is entirely unique to the Japanese release and is widely praised for its hallucinatory, avant-garde style — a perfect match for the film’s descent into madness.

Apocalypse Now is a towering cinematic achievement, inspired by Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, and stars Marlon Brando, Martin Sheen, Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper, and Harrison Ford.
