This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1966 for Sergio Corbucci’s Django, starring Franco Nero and Loredana Nusciak, with the unforgettable theme by Luis Bacalov. A cornerstone of the Spaghetti Western that launched a wave of sequels, homages, and cultural references for decades.
Design
Grit and myth in one frame: a stark, grainy close-up of Django’s steely gaze fills the left field, bisected by a revolver barrel thrust toward the viewer. In the distance, the iconic image—Django dragging his coffin across a desolate landscape—anchors the composition next to the “DJANGO” wordmark. The bold red Japanese title 「続・荒野の用心棒」 slashes across the base, a uniquely Japanese campaign choice that linked the film to Kurosawa-style lone-wolf legend. Hard-edged typography and weathered textures complete a rare, high-impact design.
