This is an original B2-size illustrated Japanese poster for the 1970 entry in the Furyo Bancho series: Delinquent Boss: Checkmate (Furyo Bancho: Otebisha). Known for its rowdy blend of action, comedy, and youth gang rebellion, the series starred Tatsuo Umemiya and was a flagship for Toei's late-60s/early-70s yakuza biker genre.
The poster is signed in the lower right by famed illustrator Seito, whose dynamic style defined many Toei exploitation posters of the 1970s. The bold title, split between bright blue and red characters, punctuates the design with punk-like force.
