This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 2002 for the release of Barber’s Sorrow (理髪店主のかなしみ), the Japanese drama directed by Ryuichi Hiroki and starring Tomorowo Taguchi, Mihoko Sunouchi and Kaori Hifumi.

Design

A bold, pop‑art composition built around scale and colour contrast. A huge lime‑green face stretches across the top like a billboard‑sized close‑up, while a vivid gradient field shifts from green to turquoise and deep blue below. At centre, the red‑haired woman in a white dress stands front‑facing, isolated like a figure on a stage, with the orange “BARBER’S SORROW” title arcing diagonally across the lower half.
