“The Beast of Hollow Mountain” (原始怪獣ドラゴドン), Original First Release Japanese Speed Poster / Press Sheet 1958, Size ( c.26 × 73 cm) O14

This is an original Japanese speed poster with its theatrical press sheet, printed for the first Japanese release on 13 December 1958 and distributed by Shintoho. The film—marketed domestically as “Doragodon” (ドラゴドン)—is the U.S.–Mexico dino-Western in CinemaScope / Color by De Luxe, directed by Edward Nassour and Ismael Rodríguez, and starring Guy Madison and Patricia Medina. 

Poster design
A towering, man-eating dinosaur (“Doragodon”) erupts from the swamp clutching its victim, while the bold blood-red vertical title 「原始怪獣ドラゴドン」 (with furigana) runs the length of the sheet. CINEMASCOPE and Color by De Luxe banners crown the layout; a right-side callout teases a fight to the death on the Mexican plains. Portraits of Madison and Medina anchor the base beside 「日本語版」 and the English film title. (The “Doragodon” name was coined for the Japanese release.)
