This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical movie poster from 1962 for the original release of La Notte.
La Notte occupies the central position in Michelangelo Antonioni's informal trilogy, coming after L'Avventura (1960) and preceding L'Eclisse (1962). Antonioni's works are placed alongside masterpieces of the New Wave and neorealist movements, such as Godard's Breathless, Truffaut's The 400 Blows, and Fellini's La Dolce Vita. While it may sound cliché, it is undeniable that these French and Italian New Wave films from the early 1960s profoundly influenced the language of cinema for decades to come.
