This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 2000 for the first release of Pokémon 3: The Movie (劇場版ポケットモンスター 結晶塔の帝王), released internationally as Pokémon 3: The Movie – Spell of the Unown. One of the most beloved early-era Pokémon features, it centres on the mysterious Unown and the surreal crystal fortress they create—an imaginative, visually distinctive entry from the franchise’s peak cinema boom years.
Design
A vibrant, character-packed composition built for maximum impact: Entei roars across the left foreground while Ash and Pikachu charge in from the right, framed by towering crystalline spires and a sky filled with Unown glyphs. The huge metallic title 「結晶塔の帝王」 dominates the centre with strong “blockbuster” presence, while the supporting cast—Misty, Brock, Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and more—fills the lower field in classic 2000-era anime poster styling.
