Sale price $660.00

This is an original Japanese B0 two‑sheet poster printed in 1977 for Toei’s cult disaster‑kaiju spectacle Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds. Riding the late‑’70s monster‑movie wave, the film unleashes a lake‑lurking plesiosaur and a giant “monster bird” amid earthquakes and volcanic turmoil around Mt. Fuji—equal parts creature feature, disaster epic, and panic cinema.

Film background
A ferocious blend of kaijū thrills and catastrophe set‑pieces, the picture pivoted Toei’s monster output toward grittier, blood‑streaked realism: amphibious attacks, aerial strikes, and a climactic duel of prehistoric beasts against storm‑torn skies. Shot around the Fuji Five Lakes area with extensive miniature and suitmation work, it’s a favorite among Japanese monster‑movie and Toei collectors.

Poster design
A thunderhead panorama sprawls across the spectacular B0 canvas: the long‑necked lake beast coils upward while a fanged pterosaur slashes past in mid‑air, blood bursts accenting the combat. Production stills cascade down the left margin; Mt. Fuji anchors the mid‑ground; a panicked crowd races across the shoreline footer. The colossal, gouged vermilion title 「恐竜・怪鳥の伝説」 punches across the base, with the Toei triangle logo and English slug “LEGEND OF DINOSAURS AND MONSTER BIRDS” printed at right. The reverse bears a red rubber‑stamp of the Japanese title—typical of original studio issue.

Condition
Remarkable, unused, excellent condition—bright inks, clean paper, and crisp presentation at this impressive size. Only the original factory folds from studio distribution are present (as issued for two‑sheet B0s, formed by joining two B1s). Please review the photos; they show the exact poster for sale.
