This is an original Japanese Speed-size (スピード判) poster printed in 1988 and distributed by Nippon Herald to promote a theatrical program of classic Tom & Jerry shorts. The design shouts with a bright yellow field, huge diagonal トムとジェリー logotype, and starbursts naming the featured cartoons in English: Bowling Alley Cat, Dog Trouble, and Puss N’ Toots (originally released in 1942) from the golden MGM era by William Hanna & Joseph Barbera (music by Scott Bradley). MGM/UA rights line appears at the foot.
It is over 37 years old!
