This is an original Japanese B2 advance/teaser poster printed in 1999 for the nineteenth James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, starring Pierce Brosnan with Sophie Marceau and Denise Richards, directed by Michael Apted. Issued ahead of release to announce the coming roadshow.
Design
Ultra-minimal Japanese teaser styling: the sheet is dominated by the giant red kanji 「予告」 (“Advance Notice”), with the copy line 「20世紀最後の任務。」 below. The lower half features Bond (Brosnan) in the chair-collar torture rig, over a large translucent 007 mark and the small 近日公開 tag—clean, bold, and unmistakably Japanese Bond advertising.
