This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1987 for the first release of Akira.
In our many years, we have only seen one copy of this poster which had some condition issues such as pinholes. We are honoured to present this near mint condition cult collectible.
Akira (Japanese: アキラ) is a 1988 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name.
