This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed for the first Japanese theatrical release of Beast from Haunted Cave (U.S. 1959), the early Monte Hellman crime-horror hybrid produced in the Roger Corman orbit. Issued domestically as 魔の谷 (“Valley of the Demon”), it arrived amid Japan’s boom in imported American genre pictures.

About the release

A gang pulls a gold heist near South Dakota’s Terry Peak, only to be stalked through snowy backcountry by a web-spinning cave creature. The film marked one of Monte Hellman’s first features and stars Michael Forest, Sheila Carol, and Frank Wolff—faces familiar to Corman devotees and later Euro-cult cinema.
