This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1986 for Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli adventure Castle in the Sky (Laputa)—the studio’s first official feature under the Ghibli banner. Pazu and Sheeta race sky-pirates and soldiers to the fabled floating city in a story that set the template for Ghibli’s blend of soaring imagination and human warmth.

Design
The classic key art: Sheeta descends from the sky glowing with the levitation stone while Pazu reaches up from the mine’s winding gear below. A stormy slate backdrop lets the emerald title 「天空の城ラピュタ」 pop across the base. Simple, lyrical, and instantly recognizable as the film’s first-issue theatrical sheet.

Condition
Very Good: light handling and surface scuffing, a few short edge nicks and tiny rubs along the left margin (see close-up), small corner touches; colours strong and the poster displays beautifully. Please review the photos—they show the exact item for sale.
