This is an original Japanese poster printed in 2013 for COMME des GARÇONS’ in-store “POLKA DOT WONDERLAND” campaign, announcing “CAMPAIGN STARTING FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22.” Boutique display item, not sold commercially.
A playful collage pairs classic Alice in Wonderland line art (Tenniel style) with CDG’s signature polka dots across totes, tees, mugs, umbrella, luggage and tags. The bold POLKA DOT WONDERLAND wordmark and red accenting (notably Alice’s dotted dress) provide strong graphic impact—an instantly recognizable snapshot of CDG’s design language.
