This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1999 for the domestic release of Creatures from the Abyss (Italy, 1994; dir. Al Passeri). Issued with Japan Cinema Associates / Albatros Film credits and noting 1999 Official Selection – Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival, the sheet features newly commissioned Japanese artwork by Atsushi Kaneko (artist’s seal at lower right).

Poster design
A wild, neo-psychedelic illustration: dripping slime typography crowns a teal field as mutant sea creatures surge from a gaping fish maw toward screaming bathers; a red freighter explodes below. Thick black keylines, pop colors, and Kaneko’s signature grotesque flourishes give this poster huge, gallery-ready wall presence.

Condition
This poster is in very good condition. Please review the photos (front and back); they show the exact poster for sale.

This poster has some pinholes from previous display. This poster was also exposed to sunlight which has slightly faded its appearance. We have taken this into account when pricing. Once framed, it will display fantastically.

This poster is over 26 years old.
