Over the years we have acquired many ultra rare posters. Individually these posters would be the rarest posters that we have ever had in our gallery by a mile. As a collection of three, including Dr. No (the only known copy of this poster known to exist) it is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a serious James Bond collector or museum. These posters have NEVER shown up for sale and is the ultimate holy grail for James Bond collectors!

As mentioned above, this Dr. No billboard, is the only known example of the poster to exist. It was displayed in the National Film Archive of Japan 8 years ago. It used to be owned by a famous Japanese collector prior to acquisition by Japan Poster Shop. The only time anyone has seen it was when it was on display in the museum. Initially Dr No was expected to be a flop or just like any other film, not the first in one of the longest and most popular film series!

The much less rare Dr. No British Quad sold at Sotheby`s for $115,000 in 2019 - therefore, this set would also make a fantastic investment. When investing in Japanese posters, it is always best to invest in the best of the best.

Japanese James Bond posters are widely regarded as having the best artwork beating off some very stiff competition!

Please refer to the imagery as these posters are the exact items that are for sale. We are very happy to provide additional imagery and information - please email us at japanposteruk@gmail.com

We sent this set of three posters from Tokyo all the way to California to our linen-backers and they have done an best-in-class job. Prior to linen backing, the poster had some minor edge and handling wear, and a chip in the lower left corner. Expert restoration has addressed these flaws, and the poster now appears very fine, to near mint.

Certificate of Authenticity included.
