"Hear the Wind Sing" (風の歌を聴け), Original Japanese First-Release Movie Poster 1981, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) ZA852
This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1981 for Kazuki Ōmori’s adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s debut novel Hear the Wind Sing. A drifting Kobe summer of bars, radio DJs, Budweiser, and half-remembered love becomes a minimalist, new-cinema mood piece led by Kaoru Kobayashi and Kimie Shingyōji.
Design
A striking collage: the crescent of Budweiser labels slices a two-tone yellow/blue field, with monochrome character cut-outs perched along the curve. The hand-set vertical title 「風の歌を聴け」 floats through the yellow—clean, witty, very 1981 art-film graphics.
