"Human Traffic", Original Release Japanese Movie Poster 2000, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) N101
This is an original Japanese poster printed in 2000 for the first release of Human Traffic.
Human Traffic is a 1999 British-Irish independent film written and directed by Justin Kerrigan. Set over a drug- and club-fuelled weekend in Cardiff, the film follows five friends navigating the highs and lows of youth culture, relationships, and self-discovery. The cast includes John Simm, Lorraine Pilkington, Shaun Parkes, Nicola Reynolds, and Danny Dyer. Known for its sharp observational humour, the film vividly captures the late 1990s rave scene, complete with fast-paced editing, direct-to-camera monologues, and a celebrated soundtrack featuring artists such as Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden, and Underworld.
The Japanese tagline above the credits reads: 何もないぼくらが、何にでもなれる時間。 (“A time when we who have nothing can become anything.”) The bold design combines striking vertical bands of red, orange, and blue with dynamic cast imagery, perfectly reflecting the energy and vibrancy of the film.
