This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed for the 1971 Japanese release of Je Suis une Nymphomane / 「色情日記」, Max Pécas’s French erotic drama starring Sandra Julien.
The Japanese title, Shikijō Nikki / 「色情日記」, may be translated as “Diary of Desire” or “Erotic Diary.” The poster formed part of Nippon Herald Films’ campaign introducing Julien to Japanese audiences, shortly before her appearances in Japanese productions during the early 1970s.
Film background
The story follows Carole, a young woman living in Nice whose relationship with physical intimacy changes dramatically following a traumatic accident.
Unable to reconcile her compulsive desires with her search for emotional stability, Carole moves through a succession of relationships and encounters while attempting to understand whether genuine affection can free her from her increasingly destructive behaviour.
The film was directed by Max Pécas, a prolific figure in French erotic and exploitation cinema, from a screenplay written with Claude Mulot.

Translated:

At lower right, two smaller photographic insets present scenes from the film, including Julien posed before an oval mirror and an intimate encounter. The original French title:
“Je suis une nymphomane”
is incorporated beneath one of these images.

Condition
Very Good+ condition. The poster retains strong sepia, burgundy, pink, and cream tones, clear photographic detail, and very good overall display impact.
Despite these age-related issues, the poster remains complete and presents strongly.
