“Paris, je t’aime” (パリ、ジュテーム), Original Japanese First Release Movie Poster 2006, B2 Size (c. 51 × 73 cm) ZA723

Sale price $125.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster issued in Japan for the original release era of Paris, je t’aime (2006), the celebrated anthology feature comprised of short films set across the arrondissements of Paris—directed by an extraordinary roster of international filmmakers and featuring an ensemble cast that includes Juliette Binoche, Natalie Portman, Steve Buscemi, Willem Dafoe, Elijah Wood, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and many more. A modern love letter to the city, the film blends romance, melancholy, comedy, and fleeting human connection—becoming a cult favourite for cinephiles and design-minded collectors alike.

Poster design
A stunning, design-forward Japanese one-sheet built around a single unforgettable graphic: a gigantic hot-pink heart filling the sheet like a poster-sized Valentine. Across the heart, the title PARIS JE T’AIME is set in bold white letterforms with hand-drawn, sketchy shadow outlines—playful, modern, and unmistakably “Paris.” The Eiffel Tower stands in for the “A,” turning the typography into a city icon. Scattered across the letters and heart are miniature figures—lovers, wanderers, café-sitters, dancers, and passers-by—each tiny vignette suggesting a different arrondissement story and giving the poster a charming “Where’s Waldo of romance” quality. The Japanese title 「パリ、ジュテーム」 runs diagonally at lower right in clean blue type, while the small festival/credit block sits discreetly at the base, allowing the graphic concept to dominate. A superb display piece: bold colour, clever typography, and instantly recognisable wall impact.
