This is an original Japanese B2 publicity poster printed in 1997 to announce the LaserDisc release of Princess Mononoke (Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli). Issued as part of the “ジブリがいっぱい” home-video line, the layout carries the on-poster street date 「6・26 レーザーディスク発売」 (on sale 6/26) and a burst promoting bonus trailer content.
Design
The iconic 「生きろ。」(Live.) tagline drops down the right margin while San, fur-cloaked and goggled, rides a white wolf through lush forest light. The lower half fades to black with the bold red title 「もののけ姫」 and the Ghibli home-video credits—clean, dramatic, and unmistakably late-’90s Ghibli.
