This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1976 for the Toho Masterpiece Series (日劇・東宝映画傑作選), a special theatrical festival programme. The design features Toshiro Mifune in Yojimbo (1961) front and centre, with the original 1954 Godzilla towering above—plus programme panels for companion titles including Sanjuro, Mothra, and Rodan.

Yojimbo, directed by Akira Kurosawa, helped inspire the spaghetti-western era, while Ishirō Honda’s Godzilla (1954) launched Toho’s landmark kaijū franchise. This festival poster celebrates those touchstones with bold collage artwork and dated screening blocks.
