This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1987 for the first release of Akira.
Akira (Japanese: アキラ) is a 1988 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name.
It is over 38 years old!
This poster is in very good / excellent condition. Please refer to the imagery as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
The very bottom right hand edge of the poster has some very minor damage from when it was stored (please see additional imagery provided) - we have taken this into consideration when pricing. Once framed with a border, it will display excellently and will be barely noticeable!
