This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1986 for the Japanese release of Aliens (エイリアン2), James Cameron’s landmark sci-fi action sequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien. Starring Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, the film escalated the franchise into full-scale military horror and remains one of the most influential genre sequels ever made.

Design
A beautifully stark, high-impact Japanese one-sheet: Ripley cradles Newt in a tight, firelit embrace while gripping a futuristic pulse rifle—an instantly recognisable image of protection under pressure. Behind them, the Xenomorph threat looms in darkness and flame, while the bold top copy declares 「今度は戦争だ！」 (“This time it’s war!”) with the secondary line 「宇宙には、ひとりで行ってはならない所がある。」 (“There are places in space you shouldn’t go alone.”). The clean, oversized title エイリアン2 anchors the base, with the English ALIENS printed above—minimal typography, maximum tension.
