“Any Which Way You Can” (ダーティファイター 燃える鉄拳), Original Japanese Movie Poster 1981, Warner Bros. First Release, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O162

Sale price $120.00

This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1981 for the first domestic theatrical release of Any Which Way You Can (ダーティファイター 燃える鉄拳), directed by Buddy Van Horn and released in Japan by Warner Bros. First-issue Japanese posters for Clint Eastwood’s crowd-pleasing action comedies are highly collectible.

Film background
Eastwood returns as trucker and bare-knuckle brawler Philo Beddoe, coaxed out of retirement for a high-stakes bout with champion Jack Wilson (William Smith). Along the way he tangles with mobsters, the hapless Black Widows biker gang, and rekindles things with singer Lynn Halsey-Taylor (Sondra Locke)—with loyal orangutan Clyde stealing scenes again.

Poster design
A punchy, illustration-driven country sheet: Eastwood’s intense portrait and pointing fist dominate a tilted maroon panel overflowing with character vignettes—Clyde, Locke, bikers, cops, and a roaring street chase—set within a vivid orange border. The bold black-and-scarlet Japanese logotype 「ダーティファイター 燃える鉄拳」 anchors the base beside small English titling and Warner crediting. The Eirin mark appears along the footer—classic hallmarks of an authentic first-release sheet with lively wall presence.
