This is an original Japanese pamphlet-poster (program booklet with poster-style cover) issued by 20th Century-Fox for the 1966 theatrical release of Batman, starring Adam West and Burt Ward, with Lee Meriwether (Catwoman), Cesar Romero (Joker), Burgess Meredith (Penguin) and Frank Gorshin (Riddler). Produced at the height of the TV phenomenon, the feature turbo-charges the campy, pop-art tone—bat-gadgets, villain team-up, and a Batmobile straight from prime-time.

Design
A vibrant two-panel cover: West and Ward square off above the explosive katakana title 「バットマン」, while the lower strip parades the rogues—Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Joker—in saturated ’60s color.
