This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1987 for the first Japanese release of Beverly Hills Cop II / 「ビバリーヒルズ・コップ2」, the blockbuster action-comedy sequel starring Eddie Murphy as Detective Axel Foley.

Released at the height of Murphy’s global box-office dominance, Beverly Hills Cop II reunited Axel Foley with the Beverly Hills police team for another fast-moving mix of comedy, action, and 1980s studio spectacle.

Film background
Directed by Tony Scott and produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, Beverly Hills Cop II follows Detroit detective Axel Foley as he returns to California after a friend is seriously wounded.
