Sale price $110.00

This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster for Blind Terror / See No Evil (見えない恐怖), the 1971 British psychological thriller directed by Richard Fleischer and starring Mia Farrow, Dorothy Alison, Robin Bailey, Diane Grayson, and Brian Rawlinson. The film was released theatrically in Japan in 1973 by Columbia.

Film background
Directed by Richard Fleischer, Blind Terror follows a young woman who has recently lost her sight and becomes trapped in a terrifying situation after a violent murder occurs in the country house where she is staying. The film is widely remembered for its suspense structure, its use of vulnerability and unseen danger, and Mia Farrow’s highly expressive central performance.

Poster design
This Japanese B2 uses a classic early-1970s thriller composition. The upper image shows a silhouetted figure standing in a bedroom, framed from below, while a woman lies helpless across the bed in the background. The perspective immediately creates a feeling of threat, entrapment, and voyeuristic suspense.

The pink Japanese headline reads:

「絶望の暗闇の中で……」
“In the darkness of despair…”

Below it, the smaller copy reads:

「なにかが動く!なにかが触れる!?」
“Something moves! Something touches!?”

The lower section features a close-up of Mia Farrow, her face turned upward in fear, paired with the English title BLIND TERROR and the large red Japanese title 見えない恐怖 — literally “Invisible Terror” or “Terror That Cannot Be Seen.”

The design is direct, atmospheric, and highly effective: a superb Japanese presentation of a psychological thriller built around blindness, isolation, and unseen menace.
